Suporting Walls Insurance

This type of insurance covers a large number of natural perils, including fire as the main risk, as well as some other perils at no additional insurance premium costs. The policy can include additional risks, depending on the desired scope of cover.

Basic risks included in the cover:

• explosion, excluding nuclear
• windstorm
• hailstorm
• public events and demonstrations
• aircraft fall and impact
• own vehicle impact, own powered machinery impact and unknown vehicle impact onto the insured building

• avalanche
• subsidence and landslide
• leakage from tanks or pipelines
• stock self-ignition

What can be insured?

• buildings and various other immovables - insurance covers all parts of the building, foundations and basement walls, all in-built installations, all in-built equipment - lift, central heating with the fuel tank, boilers, air-conditioners, etc.
• movables, furniture, devices and machines, various tools
• fences, supporting walls, roads, paths, pavements, paved patios
• stocks of goods, raw materials, semi-manufactured goods and consumables
• outdoor stocks
• underground, overground and underwater grids (water mains, sewers, telephone, gas and electric grids, etc.), apart from grids which are part of a building and grids within an industrial company area
• sports grounds, children’s playgrounds, outdoor swimming pools and ice-skating rinks
• money and securities
• exhibits at exhibitions and fairs
• aerial devices outside the building
